Hi RainMaker Maker,

Is an introduction to the CEO what you suggest we tell the salesrep, per the second question above? Couldn't that be a career limiting move as bad as the reply-all email of the sales rep from the earlier posting? I'm sure the rep who sent me this email had their reasons. Was it to just vent frustrations? Do they hope their manager reads this blog? Or better yet, their CEO is reading the blog? I don't know. As I don't the CEO, I can't make the introductions directly but I know the rep who sent me this email is reading the blog and I'd be happy to make the introductions between the 2 of you if that's what the rep wishes!

Michael, I can't NOT comment here and I'm surprised that you don't already have a slew of comments. It appears that this sales manager is all about, "Let us come in and tell our story." instead of "Tell us the issues that you have and let's see if we can help." I apologize for letting three days pass before I read this, but I'm here now suggesting that you should use the email to introduce this sales manager's CEO to me.
