Hi Ian:

I agree with Michael about fees. People are not going to refer you just because you offer a fee. They will refer you because you've done a great job for them.

I suggest having a proactive outbound calling strategy to you best clients. Tell them you are building a referral business and ask them for one or two people they know who you should meet.

You can find tips on reaching out to current clients http://www.nomorecoldcalling.com/newsletter0607.html or read my book http://www.nomorecoldcalling.com/book.html

There are great referral strategies, but it's the personal touch that makes the difference.

Ian,

What's the name of your UK-based company? Inquisix members don't offer referrals or names for a fee, that's not our business model. I'm sure there are a few sites out there that do this but Inquisix isn't one of them. Good luck!

Our uk based wedding services company wants to run a customer referral scheme via our website where partners and visitors can submit their leads in return for commission. I'd be interested to hear about suitable services that would enable this.
